Colarossi Consulting and
Management offers complete concept development,
design, management and investment consulting
services that bridge the gap between the fitness &
spa industry and various others from hospitality,
corporate, commercial and residential. Our travels
throughout the U.S. and the world have given us
invaluable broad market knowledge which we use to
design, equip, staff, and manage successful
health clubs and spas.
Because time, energy, and personal attention are
integral to a programs success, Glen Colarossi, the
companys principal, limits the number of new clients
to two or three per year, so you are assured quality
services, focus and results.
Since we own and operate facilities,
we work with proven strategies and systems. We are
"in the trenches", and have faced the challenges that
new operations and even seasoned ones will eventually
encounter.
Principal's Bio
Well known as a leader and
innovator within the spa & fitness industry, Glenn
Colarossi has earned the respect and admiration of
his peers by designing, developing, managing and
owning spa & health clubs in the United States and
worldwide. The list of clients with whom he is and
has been associated reads like a Whos Who of Quality
Services, among them are Four Seasons Hotels,
Starwood Hotels & Resorts, The Mandarin Oriental
Hotel Group, International Spa at Fisher Island,
Williams Island Resort, Zeckendorf, Fairmont,
Miraval, Kemper and Hilton International. In
addition, as a club owner he has been a tenant for
such developers as Metropolitan Life, Gerald D.
Hines and Reckson Associates. Throughout the years
he has developed fitness centers and spas in the
four main segments Hotel, Residential, Corporate and
Commercial in areas as culturally diverse as the
U.S., the former Soviet Union, the Far East, and the
Middle East.
Mr. Colarossi graduated from Adelphi University
with an M.A. in Exercise Physiology and was one of
only 20 professionals selected to study physical
education and sports trends at the prestigious
University of Physical Culture in Moscow, Russia.
Following his immersion into this completely unique
learning experience and upon his return he was
recruited by a small U.S.-based wellness company.
There he saw an opportunity for growth, both the
companys and his own. Specializing in international
design and management of facilities, he soon became
Vice President in charge of business development and
had a strong hand in growing the company from just
two, to 38 facilities worldwide. Two clubs received
international recognition: one was given a Number
One U.S. Corporate Fitness Center rating by Simon &
Schusters Complete Health Club Handbook, and the
other a Number One Hotel Health Club rating by Conde
Nasts Traveler magazine.
Following these successes and being an
entrepreneur at heart, Mr. Colarossi moved out on
his own and soon co-owned one of Miamis most
prestigious facilities, the Downtown Athletic Club.
Since then he has built a reputation as an innovator
with unique concept development of spas and health
clubs, for world class hotels and individual
property owners. His own properties are always
ranked as "best in its class", by third party
independent sources.
As one of the most prominent and experienced
leaders in the health and spa industry, Mr.
Colarossi is a sought-after lecturer and consultant
and is often quoted in both The New York Times and
the Wall Street Journal. |
